Michael 'Mike' Hunter is one of the eight members of The Losers' Club, a group misfits who attend Baker High School in San Francisco. He is the son of the late Will and Jessica Hunter, and grandson of Leroy and the late Shirley Hunter.

He is best friends with Eddie Kresington, Bill Reynolds, Richie Thompson, Beverly Carson, Stanley Upright, Ben Hartman and Pip Muniz-Halliwell.
